St. Francis Center (SFC)
One of Denver's most important daytime resources โ a safe place during the day when other shelters are closed. On-site social services and agency partners mean you can handle multiple needs in one visit.
The Gathering Place
A day center specifically for women, children, and transgender individuals. Offers showers, laundry, computer access, meals, and case management. No overnight stay required.
The Delores Project
Overnight shelter and services for single adult women. Call ahead to check availability and current intake process.
Sacred Heart House
Emergency and transitional housing for single women and mothers with children (Catholic Charities). Call for current availability and intake steps.
Denver Rescue Mission โ Lawrence Street Shelter
The largest provider of emergency overnight shelter for men in Denver. Includes meals, case management, and access to recovery and transitional housing programs. Call or check in early โ capacity fills fast.
Samaritan House (Catholic Charities)
Emergency shelter for men, women, and families. One of the few options in Denver that serves multiple household types in one facility.
