No-judgment harm reduction services. You don't need ID or insurance. This program exists specifically to keep people alive and healthy.
What's Free:Clean syringes / needle exchange, Narcan (naloxone) to reverse overdoses, Fentanyl test strips, basic wound care, vaccinations
Hours:Call or check in at Boulder County Public Health — hours may vary. Walk in during business hours.
💡 Narcan Saves Lives: If you use drugs or know someone who does, pick up Narcan for free. It reverses opioid overdoses and has no effect if opioids aren't present. Having it costs nothing and could save a life.

The Works program runs a mobile van that brings harm reduction supplies directly to where people are. It's often parked at Central Park or near Longmont's HOPE center — but the location changes.

Getting Care Without Insurance
If you don't have insurance, you still have options in Boulder:
Medicaid:Apply at DHS (3460 Broadway) — if you qualify, it covers most medical care including prescriptions, mental health, and dental. Emergency Medicaid is available even if you don't have immigration status.
Boulder Community Health:BCH has a charity care / sliding scale program. Ask about financial assistance when you call or check in.
All Roads Case Managers:They can connect you to medical appointments and navigate the healthcare system with you. Ask at 4869 N. Broadway.
